EHS Football Playoff Games football

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday November 6th in the EHS athletic office for $8 and available next week online at GOFan on the athletic site.

Everyone that attends the game will need to purchase a ticket, however season pass holder seats will be honored as reserved seating as well as parking passes. Ushers will be available to assist with seating at the game.

Grant To Improve Safety In Schools cops

The Elizabethton City School System applied for a grant earlier this year and received notification last week the grant was awarded for $470,662.

West Side Elementary promoting active living for students and the community ribbon cutting

West Side Elementary received a grant from Niswonger Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network  for innovative fitness in education equipment. The grant brings the Project Fit America Program to the school and provides state-of-the-art outdoor and indoor fitness equipment, curriculum, and on-site teacher training.

Virtual Reality Classes now being offered at EHS community open house

Exciting news for Elizabethton High School moving towards the future. After EHS was named an XQ school last year. Funding was provided to make a phase of various projects to take place. One project for the 2019- 2020 school year is providing students with a glimpse into the future. A Virtual Reality class is now being offered this semester at Elizabethton High School.

Community Opportunities at EHS pool for Aerobics Classes pool

The Community Involvement Program was created by Elizabethton City Schools with the goal of providing affordable exercise opportunities for community members living in and around Elizabethton. Currently, Water Aerobics classes is offered every week on Tuesday & Thursday.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) visited Elizabethton High School today to inform students about some of the changes in the school to better their education.

Renovation at T.A. Dugger is Encouraging a Healthy Lifestyle TA Dugger renovated fitness room

A room T.A. Dugger once used as a catch all is now an amazing fitness room for faculty and students. The idea for the renovation started with a vision from Travis Williams.

Grant to provide SRO's in all Elizabethton City Elementary Schools SRO

Elizabethton City Schools is starting the school year off safer in each elementary school.  Grant funding by the state was awarded to Elizabethton City Schools. The funding will provide an SRO (School Resource Officer) in all three Elementary Schools.
