In recent days disparaging statements have been made regarding our teachers and the colleges and universities that prepare them. Elizabethton is blessed to have teachers that are dedicated, competent, and committed. Our teachers go above and beyond each day to make a difference in the lives of all students. These teachers are the most talented, inspirational, intelligent, and caring persons around.
We also feel that our college and university Educational Preparation Programs are among the best in the country. The teachers they train are the best and brightest. They meet and exceed all certification and licensure requirements required by the state of Tennessee.
Elizabethton City Schools is proud to stand with our educators, colleges, and universities for the jobs they do to serve our children, their families, and our community.
